Land zoned General Business <br />Council member DeLapp expressed concern with the General Business District listing of <br />Permitted and Conditional Uses. He is concerned that some of the listed uses would no <br />longer be compatible with the City's development polices at least in locations other than <br />the Old village Commercial area. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Armstrong - to ask the Planning Commission to look into GB uses <br />outside of the Old Village Commercial Area in the comp plan based on the hearing <br />timeline and come back with a recommendation. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />H. Tree Planting Project <br />Council member DeLapp suggested a Tree Planting Policy in co-ordination with the Tree <br />City USA Program and asking residents for cost participation. <br />Because of the late time, the Council postponed the agenda item until the next meeting <br />discussion on the Tree Planting Project Policy. <br />10. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT: NONE <br />11. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Assessment Policy/Privacy Policy — Postponed until July 2" d meeting <br />B. Interviews of Finance Director <br />Mayor Htmt explained there were no continuity as some candidates were interviewed on <br />Monday and others on Tuesday by different Council members and suggested the Council, <br />as a whole, interviews all the candidates. <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to schedule half hour interview sessions starting at 5 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, June 25 by the entire City Council. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />Council member DeLapp stated he had a 7 p.m. Washington County Planning meeting. <br />12. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Council member Dunn thanked the City for putting flags up for Flag Day <br />She gave an update on Highway 36 meeting. There was opposition on what MnDOT is <br />proposing. There is money for the signal light at CSAH17 so installation should be <br />brought back up. Sue would like to bring the densities down in the OP cluster <br />developments.
