F. (1) Appointment of City Attorney (Civil) M/S/P Dunn/Siedow — to appoint Jerry Filla, Peterson, Fram & Bergman as the City Attorney for Civil matters. (Motion passed 5-0.) (2) Appointment of City Attorney (Criminal) Council members Dunn and Johnston noted they had issues on responsiveness from Attorney Shoeberg with complaints on houses located at 8961 37th Street and 8498 Hidden Bay Trail. M/S/P DeLapp/Dunn — to appoint Kevin Shoeberg as the City Attorney for Criminal matters on a three month stipulation. (Motion passed 5-0). Council member Siedow asked what the cost of the investigation of the internal issue. M/S/P Dunn/Johnston — to invite Attorney Kevin Shoeberg to talk to the Council on timelines of issues raised. (Motion passed 5-0). G. Appointment of Financial Advisor M/S/P Dunn/DeLapp — to appoint Paul Donna, Northland Public Finance Group as the City's Financial Advisor for 2003. (Motion passed 5-0.) H, Appointment of Auditing Firm M/S/P DeLapp/Dunn — to appoint Abdo, Eick & Meyers, LLP as the City of Lake Elmo's auditing firm for 2003. (Motion passed 5-0.) L Committee Assignments: Finance, Personnel, M/S/ Dunn/Siedow - to replace Lee Hunt with Dean Johnston to serve on the Personnel Committee. Council member DeLapp would like the entire five Council members to be on the committee and thought this would make it easier to have a quorum. M/S/P Dunn/Johnston — to call the question. (Motion passed) M/S/P Dunn/Siedow — to appoint Dean Johnston as replacement for Mayor Hunt, to serve on the Personnel Committee along with Council member Dunn and Council Member Siedow as an alternate. (Motion passed 4-1:DeLapp will attend these meetings even if he does not serve on this committee). M/S/P Johnston/Dunn — to appoint Council member DeLapp along with Mayor Hunt to serve on the Finance Committee (Motion passed 5-0.) 6. CONSENT AGENDA: 7.
