Fees <br />at the rate of $.50 per page side). (Motion passed 3-0). <br />11. ACTING CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />The Acting City Administrator reported on the following: <br />*The city has received resident comments endorsing the 25 mph policy on certain public <br />streets in various neighborhoods of the City. <br />*An RFP for Municipal Organizational and Human Resources Consulting Services has <br />been sent out to six organizations and the RFP has been sent out for consulting servics on <br />the City's Zoning Ordinance with two organizations responding. <br />*Update on Governor Pawlenty's budget proposal. <br />*There will be proposals sent to the Council in March regarding outsourcing codification <br />of the City Code and minute taking. <br />12. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Based upon the request of the Met Council as submitted to some of the local cities; <br />Mayor Hunt suggested that the Planning Commission look into the Blueprint 2030, at the <br />invitation of Peter Bell, Chairman of the Met Council, and draft some specific feedback <br />for the City to consider for submission to the Met Council by May. <br />Council member Dunn received property tax workshop information from Washington <br />County which will be given to Tom Bouthilet, the Acting Finance Director. <br />Council member Johnston reported he has signed up for attending the Newly Elected <br />Officials Conference at a cost of $250 which the City will be billed by invoice. <br />He is making progress on establishing the Community Improvement Commission that <br />could address safety issues, such as, safety standards for gaslines, an inspection program, <br />and proposed street lights on 10d' Street. Mayor Hunt added that MAC has asked the <br />Council what they would like them to do so maybe the two committees could be <br />coordinated. He inquired if the information City Administrator Mary Kueffner had <br />requested had been mailed. The Acting Administrator noted that a letter and information <br />was sent Tuesday. He inquired about not receiving an update on the junk houses by <br />Attorney Shoeberg, which was scheduled for this council meeting. The Acting <br />Administrator will contact Attorney Shoeberg about presenting an update for March 4th <br />Council meeting. <br />Attorney Filla reported the Met. Council case transcripts are done, the Met.
