8. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />A. Resolution No. 2003-011: Exterior Repairs for Fire Station No. 1 <br />Tom Prew reported that nine bids were received for this project. A complete tabulation <br />of bids was provided. Prew recommend that the Council award the contract to the low <br />bidder, A.J. Spanjers Co., for their base bid of $19,975.00. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Johnston - to adopt Resolution No. 2003-011, A Resolution awarding the <br />bid for Exterior Repairs for Fire Station No. 1 to A.J. Spanjers Co., in the amount of <br />$19,975.00, as recommended by the City Engineer. (Motion passed 3-0). <br />B. Resolution No. 2003-012: Roof Replacements for Fire Station No. 1 and 2 <br />Tom Prew reported Nieman Roofing Inc. has completed all construction and submitted <br />the final paperwork including warrantee. Prew recommends approval of the final <br />payment in the amount of $18,500.00. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Johnston - to adopt Resolution No. 2003-012, A Resolution approving Final <br />Payment for Roof Replacements for Fire Stations No. 1 and No. 2 to Nieman Roofing <br />Co. in the amount of $18,500.00, as recommended by the City Engineer. (Motion passed <br />3-0). <br />C. Exterior Repairs at the Public Works Building <br />Tom Prew reported the bidding climate is good and recommended that the Council go out <br />for bids for the Exterior Repairs at the Public Works/Fire Station No. 2. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Johnston - to authorize the City Staff to prepare plans and receive quotes for <br />the Exterior Repairs at the Public Works/Fire Station No. 1, as recommended by the City <br />Engineer per memo dated February 11, 2003. (Motion passed 3-0). <br />9. PLANNING, LAND USE & ZONING: <br />10. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT: <br />A. Data Practices Procedure Policy <br />At its January 21, 2003 meeting, the Council accepted the Data Practices Procedures <br />Policy drafted by the City Attorney and requested that he draft these policies and a fee <br />schedule as a legal document for Council adoption.
