.Minutes of Lake Elmo Village Council Meeting Oct. 16, 1973 Page 1 <br />Meeting called to order at 5:08 p.m. <br />resent: Brookman, Watson, Park and Mehsikomer <br />Absent: Abercrombie, Shervheim and Friedrich <br />Others present: Bldg. Insp. J. Mueller, Counsels D. RAleigh and Phil Nicolai <br />and from PZC Wm. Lundquist and Dorothy Lyons. <br />Codification: The preliminary draft of the codification was reviewed and changes <br />were recommended. Nicolai will review the material and incorporate <br />the changes and have ready for meeting of Nov. 20, 1973. <br />Clerk advised council of quotation on 100 copies of final code. <br />Based on 200 printed sides and having material collated and inserted <br />in #258 Duotang binders cost for 100 sets was $477.75. 200 sets <br />would cost $346.50 per hundred. Bid was received from Mason Publ. <br />Meeting recessed at 6:25 for dinner. Reconvened at 7:02 p.m. <br />Late arrivals: C. Friedrich and Eng. Bonestroo arrived at 7:15 p.m. <br />Minutes approval:Motion by C. Watson second by C. Friedrich to approve minutes <br />of Oct. 2, 1973 meeting as submitted <br />Carried 3 - 0. <br />C. Abercrombie and C. Shervheim absent. <br />T. Lindbeck: File showed that PZC had held a hearing on Special Use Permit of <br />Thomas. Lindbeck. Mr. Lindbeck reported that because of a mis- <br />understanding he was out of town and did not attend hearing. PZC <br />records show that five people showed up to object to issuance of <br />Special Use Permit. Because of misunderstanding council agreed - <br />to permit a new hearing. Mr. Lindbeck will reapply for hearing <br />to be scheduled for PZC meeting Nov. 13, 1973. Attorney John <br />Brandt represented Mr. Lindbeck. Clerk instructed to send Mr. <br />Lindbeck a copy of PZC minutes for meeting of Oct. 9, 1973. <br />Motion by C. Watson second by C. Friedrich to delay action until <br />matter had been reviewed by PZC and until a full compliment of <br />village officials was available. Carried 3 - 0. <br />Nov. 6 Because Nov. 6, 1973 is election day council will delay start of <br />Meeting: meeting until 8:15 p.m. which is 15 minutes after poles close. <br />Graves -access Mr. Graves requested an easement for a driveway across village <br />to property at owned property (100'X 15') from 33rd St. Lane N. <br />10940 32nd St.N. <br />Resolution R73-34 <br />C. Watson presented Resolution R73-34 establishing a driveway <br />easement from 33rd St. Lane N. to lot at 10940 32nd St. N. since <br />it was in the best interest village as property will be used for <br />utilities. Second by C. Friedrich Carried 3 - 0. <br />
