Minutes of Lake Elmo Village Council Meeting con';t Oct.16,1973 Page 2 <br />Northbrooke Clerk read abstract of title, in part, where it spelled out convenants <br />Farms: restricting use of property for intended use. <br />Motion by C. Watson second by C. Friedrich that council will not <br />entertain an application for use that Northbrooke Farms proposing <br />until all land owners involved had waived rights of covenants <br />Carried 3 - 0. <br />Walkway Motion by C. WAtson second by C. Friedrich approving an expenditure <br />Chain -Link of 1534.00 for chain -link fence on East and North side of walkway. <br />Fence: Permit requirement waived. Carried 3 - 0. <br />Letter from School Dist. 834 expressing appreciation to Village for <br />action taken on this matter. <br />Helmo Ave. Motion by C. Friedrich second by C. WAtson to approve additional <br />Add'l Cost: expense of $1200.00 on Helmo Ave. project to cover cost incurred <br />in piling trees removed for roadway. Responsibility for this having <br />been imposed on village in condemnation proceedings. <br />Carried 3 - 0. <br />Oace 5th: Clerk instructed to send letter to Mr. and Mrs. Oace with a copy <br />of engineers letter indicating work required before acceptance <br />of road by village and release of bond. <br />694-Minnehaha C. Watson presented Resolution R73-35 approving proposed plans <br />Interchange submitted for 694-Minnehaha fnterc ange but pointing out that <br />Resolution R73- village still felt plan inadequate. Construction should be a full <br />35: diamond not a folded diamond. Second by C. Friedrich. <br />Carried 3 - 0. <br />Mayor Brookman read a letter from Hwy. Dept. establishing a <br />Design Public Hearing on this project for Nov. 8, 1973 at District Nine <br />offices. Time 7:30 p.m. Council requested Engineer Bonestroo to <br />attend and present village position on this interchange. <br />Claims: Motion by C. Watson second by C. Fri(drich authorizing clerk to pay <br />submitted claims. Carried 3 - 0. <br />Greg Wulff Greg Wulff who was scheduled on the agenda for 7:30 p.m. regarding <br />8743 Ironwood: driveway failed to appear. <br />Brush Burning: A burning area, in the center of the newly leveled section, is <br />approved. No official notice regarding brush burning will be given <br />but any inquiries will be answered in the affirmative with directions <br />on where to pile brush. Fire department will handle disposal. <br />Election Clerk reported filings for offices for 1973 election. For Mayor <br />Filings: Incumbent Calvin Brookman and Maynard Eder. For Councilman.Thomas <br />Lindbeck, Conrad Adams, Francis Pott and Norm Wendt. Incumbent <br />Friedrich did not file. <br />
