Village of Lake Elmo Meeting Minutes Page 2 <br />C & NW Rail <br />Letter from C & NW Railroad as to their costs in resetting a grade <br />Crossing; <br />crossing in Lake Elmo was noted. Monies have been budgeted and <br />total cost figure is acceptable to the council also the requested <br />delay till spring so that work can be co-ordinated with other <br />rail work by C & NW is acceptable. Clerk is to write letter to <br />C & NW accepting their bid. <br />MTC Service <br />Motion by C. Abercrombie, seconded by C. Shervheim, to approve <br />to Cimarron: <br />the rerouting of the MTC Service to include Cimarron. <br />Carried 5 - 0. <br />Snowmobile <br />Motion by C. Watson, seconded by C. Shervheim, to approve the use <br />Safety Course; <br />of the Village Hall by the Lake Elmo Snow Rascals for the purpose <br />of safety instructions for young people as long as dates do not <br />conflict with other Village business. <br />Carried 5 - 0 <br />Salt -Sand <br />Motion by C. Shervheim, seconded by C. Watson, to award the salt <br />Removal: <br />sand mixture for the winter of 1973-74 to T.A. Friedrich, for,approval <br />Copersmith <br />of Resolution R73-36 establishing.an assessment of $9.80 per foot <br />Assessment/water <br />to be spread for 20 years at 8% annual rate as per recommendation <br />Resolution R-73-36; <br />of Village Engineer i.e. Copersmith $2,010.00, Lead Inc. <br />$7,490.00. <br />Carried 4 - 0 C.
