NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: TIME AND PLACE: Notice is hereby given that the Village Council of the Village of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, will meet at the Village Hall in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 27, 1973, to consider the construction of the following improvements, to -wit: NATURE OF Acquisition of right-of-way and construction of IMPROVEMENT: a Major Collector Street between State Highway 12 and Tenth Street North (formerly Minnehaha Avenue) ; said Major Collector Street would be a four lane divided highway running generally North and South and lying between 60 feet West - of and 124 feet East of the section line between Sections 34 and 35, Township 29 North, Range 21 West, Washington County, Minnesota, with right-of- way extensions of 150 feet on either side of said section line located on either end of said Major Collector Street for construction of necessary approaches. ESTIMATED COST: The total estimated cost of said improvement is $6502,000.00. AREA PROPOSED The area proposed to be assessed for such TO BE ASSESSED: improvement is every lot, piece or parcel of land within that portion of the Village of Lake Elmo described as follows: All land in Sections 34 and 35, Township 29 North, Range 21 West, Washington County, Minnesota, benefited by said improvement whether abutting thereon or not, based on benefits re ce ived and without regard to cash valuation. AUTHORITY: The Council proposes to proceed under the authority granted by Chapter 429 M.S.A. SUCH PERSONS AS DESIRE TO BE HEARD WITH REFERENCE TO THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT WILL BE HEARD AT THIS MEETING. WRITTEN OR ORAL OBJECTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. DATED: June 13, 1973.
