R-73 -7 <br />RESOLUTION <br />V I LJAGE OF LAItE F LMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH DEPARTMENT OF HIGIIWAYS <br />WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the Village of Lake <br />Elmo and the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways, to enter into a <br />contract to cooperate in the construction and improvement of certain streets <br />and highways as described in the Minnesota Highway Department Cooperative <br />Construction Agreement No. 57404, a copy of which is annexed hereto and made <br />a part hereof as Exhibit A for the reasons and in the manner set forth therein; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Lake Elmo enter into <br />said Agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways, for the <br />following purposes, to -wit: To provide for the Village of Lake Elmo to construct, <br />under contract, grading, gravel base and bituminous surfacing upon and along <br />Helmo Avenue, access street, between Minnehaha Lane and the westerly terminus <br />of Trunk Highway No. 12 - Trunk Highway Nod 94 interchange within the corporate <br />Village limits, in accordance with Village plans and specifications designated <br />as Lake Elmo, Minnesota, Trunk Highway 94 Service Road, Project No. 1973-1 and <br />payment by the State to the Village of the S tate's share of construction costs <br />designated by the State as State Project No. 8282-25 (T.H. 94-392) construction, <br />Minnesota Project 1094-3 ( ) 250 and State Project No. 8282 (T.H. 94-392), <br />right of way, Minnesota Project I 094-3 (24) 246. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk be, and they hereby are, <br />authorized to execute said Agreement. <br />Adopted by the Village Council this 20th day of March, 1973. <br />Calvin J.
