R-73-28 <br />RESOLUTION <br />VILLAGE OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT 1973-2 (I-94 UTILITY CROSSINGS) . <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />Improvement Project 1973-2 (I-94 Utility Crossings), bids were <br />received, opened, and tabulated, according to law, and the bids <br />set forth in the tabulation annexed hereto as "Exhibit A" were <br />received complying with the advertisement; and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that A. J. Chromy Company is the lowest <br />responsible bidder: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of <br />the Village of Lake Elmo, Minnesota: <br />1. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into an appropriate contract with said A. J. <br />Chromy Company for the construction of said improvement according <br />to the plans and specifications therefor, as approved by the <br />Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their <br />bids; except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Village Council this loth day of July, 1973. <br />Calvin J.
