Shervheim requesting counsel to take <br />Building on <br />legal action for destruction of an old building on Ivy Ave. N. <br />Ivy Ave. N. <br />Carried 5 - 0. <br />Battle Creek <br />Meeting scheduled for January 29, 1974. Richard Johnson and Joe Anderlik <br />Committee <br />will attend on behalf of Village of Lake Elmo. (Clerk instructed to send <br />Meeting: <br />copy of complete file to Richard Johnson before meeting. <br />Motion by C. Abercrombie second by Watson authorizing clerk to pay invoice <br />from City of St. Paul for $250.00 to cover village share of E. A. Hickock <br />study. Carried 5 - 0. <br />Thomas <br />Motion by C. Abercrombie second by C. Pott authorizing counsel to start legal <br />Lindbeck: <br />action to enjoin Mr. Lindbeck from doing business as an auto repair shop in <br />an area zoned residential. <br />Carried 5 - 0. <br />Chilifone: <br />Motion by C. Abercrombie second by C. Pott advising counsel to send letter to <br />Mr. Chilifone giving him two weeks to clean up and cancel his business operation <br />in a residential to building inspectors satisfaction. If situation not <br />corrected legal action to be initiated. <br />Carried 5 - 0. <br />6:30 p.m. recess 7:30 reconvene. <br />NSP NSP is considering an additional gas main from Maplewood through Lake Elmo. <br />G. Wallace: Mr. Wallace explained operation and asked council to review and consider <br />necessary permit.* Mr. Wallace advised that if Village of Lake Elmo puts <br />in any utility NSP will move, any service of theirs which conflicts, at <br />no expense to the village. <br />*NSP will supply a complete set of plans to Village Engineer Bonestroo. <br />Oace 5th Motion by C. WAtson second by C. Shervheim authorizing a reduction of road <br />Addition quarantee bond on Oace 5th Addition to $500.00. <br />Bond Reduc- Carried 5 - 0. <br />tion: <br />Legion- Frank Graham and Mr. Henn of NSP explained a lighting proposal for Legion <br />St. Lights: Ave. citizens from Legion Ave. were given an opportunity to ask questions. <br />Mayor Eder appointed a committee of residents to review the proposal and come <br />back with a recommendation at the next meeting Feb. 5, 1974. Al Henning will <br />chair this committee. <br />Joe Moris Motion by C. Abercrombie second by C. Pott approving building permit for <br />Bldg. Permit:Joe Moris on Lake Jane lakeshore lot per recommendation of engineer per <br />letter 10-15-73. <br />Carried 5 - 0. <br />Motorboat Mayor Eder will check with Dep't of Natural REsources to determine if any <br />Regulations action regarding regulating lakes in WAshington County is in process or <br />on Lake planned.
