Meeting of Lake Elmo Board of Review June 18, 1974 <br />Meeting was reconvened June 18, 1974 by Mayor Eder with Council- <br />man Abercrobie, Shervheim, Pott, and Brockman present. The <br />following actions were taken: <br />1. 3M Club: Moved to reduce improvement, ballfield area, from <br />Tartan Park $85,000 to $25,000. Idea being that grading and <br />drainage were not assessable and the spirit of the <br />Minnesota Open Space Law would be best served by <br />a lower evaluation. <br />2. Ron <br />Plate <br />#36-37760-2305, <br />moved to reduce improvement <br />Hockert <br />and remodeling value <br />from $29,414 to $28,414. <br />3. Al <br />Plate <br />#36-37750-4700 <br />& 4750, moved to reduce land <br />Caulkins <br />value <br />of 1/2 lot 50% <br />of present indicated market <br />value. <br />4. Conrad <br />Plate <br />#36-37009-000, <br />moved to reduce increased <br />Adams <br />value <br />from $3,900 to <br />$2,500. <br />5. James <br />Plate <br />#36-37010-0710 <br />moved that assessor's market <br />Oreschnick <br />value <br />hold. <br />6. Robert <br />Plate <br />#36-37015-5350: <br />Assessor will make a <br />Borglund <br />correction of 1 x 31 <br />measurement error and adjust <br />value <br />accordingly. <br />7. David Plate #36-37405-2250 moved to set building value <br />Rooke at original assessor's estimate. Individual should <br />be instructed to file for a separate abatement for <br />the year 1973. <br />8. James Plate #36-37585-2150 moved that assessment shall <br />Parker stand as is. <br />9. F. J. Plate #36-37680-2050 Lot B moved to restore to <br />Crombie original market value because at no time will any <br />improvement to this lot be allowed. <br />All of the above was included in a motion made by <br />C. Pott, seconded by C. Shervheim, and carried 5-0. <br />The application for reduction in assessed valuation <br />of Real Estate as submitted by K. J. Kemp of 10240 <br />Stillwater Lane, Lake Elmo, Plate #37670-2150 and <br />2200 was reviewed and examined. Motion by C. <br />Abercrombie, seconded by C.
