Mayor Eder requested <br />time to review. <br />Cimarron A number of violations have been cited in the Cimarron <br />area such as change in structures, screened -in areas, <br />gabled roofs, extra buildings. S.U.P. has been approved <br />but Mayor and Building Inspector will check into this <br />matter. <br />Battle Creek Council reviewed joint powers proposal in which Lake Elmo <br />Water Shed offered to assume 1.83% of cost. Engineer Bonestroo <br />Resolution advised that his firm had reviewed and felt this was a <br />R74-26 fair offer. <br />C. Abercrombie submitted Resolution R74-26 approving <br />Proposed Allocation of Cost for the Battle Creek Water- <br />shed Drainage Area Improvement and requested council <br />confirmation. Second by c. Shervheim. Resolution carried <br />5-0. <br />Tennis Courts Engineer Bonestroo submitted plans for installation of <br />Resolution 2 courts at Lake Elmo Recreation Area. Plans call for <br />R74-27 removal of old fence and installation of a new fence. <br />Nets are not included. Removal of basketball hoop will <br />be included as a conditional item. <br />C. Shervheim submitted Resolution R74-27 approving plans <br />and ordering publication calling for bids to be opened <br />August 23, 1974 at 2:00 p.m. in the City Hall and asked <br />for council confirmation. Second by c. Abercrombie. <br />Resolution carried 5-0. <br />Park Options C. Shervheim submitted Resolution R74-28 authorizing <br />Resolution counsel to advise land owners that city of Lake Elmo plans <br />R74-28 to exercise options now held for park property and asked <br />council confirmation. Second by c. Brookman. Resolution <br />carried 5-0. <br />Lindbeck Bob Brown advised council that Mr. Lindbeck continues to <br />violate the ordinance, operating a commercial business in <br />a residential area. Council recommended that Mr. Brown <br />continue to report violations. Officer R. Neville will <br />be advised to check this out when he patrols area and issue <br />tickets if in violation. <br />Motion by c. Shervheim, second by c. Abercrombie authorizing <br />counsel to initiate civil action against Mr. Lindbeck. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />
