PG. 2 <br />Motion by C. Abercrombie, second by C. Shervheim to approve <br />variances in accordance with the specification of the sewer <br />inspector and engineer as proposed for alternate sewage systems <br />as provided by 402-09 Washington County Sanitary Sewer Ordinance. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Gerald Lien: Motion by C. Brookman, second by C. Abercrombie authorizing counsel <br />to bring suit to abate nuisance caused by defective sewer system <br />and record a notice that action is pending. Carried 5-0. <br />Claims: Motion by C. Abercrombie, second by C. Shervheim to approve for <br />payment claims 77487 through 74515. Carried 5--0. <br />Special Meeting: Council will meet in special session on 10/7/74 from 6:45 to <br />9:30 PM. 6:45 to 7:30 council will discuss and finalize 1975 bud- <br />get. 7:30 to closing is a joint meeting to include planner, PZC <br />and council. <br />Park Appraisals: C. Shervheim submitted Resolution R74-32 authorizing counsel <br />Resolution R74-32 to commence condemnation proceedings on the 10 acres included <br />in the park plan, belonging to Ed Whitman and requested council <br />approval. Second C. Brookman. Resolution carried 5-0. <br />No action will be taken on condemnation of Ried property. Property <br />will remain designated as potential parkland. <br />Adjournment: Motion C.
