R-74-28 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY ATTORNEY TO NOTIFY SELLERS OF CITY INTENT <br />TO EXERCISE OPTION TO PURCHASE PARK LAND <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has heretofore entered into Option Agreements <br />providing for the purchase of certain land for park purposes from the following named <br />persons: <br />SELLERS <br />Lehart J. and Frances H. Friedrich <br />Everett E. and Evelyn V. Beaubien <br />Mervin and Mae Nippoldt <br />Top Twenty, Inc. <br />DATE OF OPTION AGREEMENT <br />March 15, 1974 <br />April 10, 1974 <br />April 12, 1974 <br />March 29, 1974 <br />AND WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo held a Special Election on June 11, 1974, <br />at which time the voters approved the issuance of general obligation bonds in the <br />amount of $750,000.00 to provide in part for the purchase of the land subject to the <br />above options; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that it is in the best <br />interest of the City to exercise said options: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />that the City Attorney be authorized and directed to notify each of the above -named <br />sellers that the City of Lake Elmo shall, and does by such notice, exercise its op- <br />tion to purchase the subject lands in accordance with the aforesaid option agreements. <br />Adopted by unanimous vote of the City Council this 6th day of August, 1974. <br />l <br />Mayne d Eder, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Donald Mehs�komer, Clerk <br />
