R-74-34 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC SALE OF $739,000.00 <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION PARK BONDS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo was authorized by a Special <br />Election held June 11, 1974, to issue $750,000.00 General Improvement Park Bonds <br />for the purpose of acquiring park lands and the development thereof; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />as follows: <br />1. It is hereby found, determined and declared that this City should issue <br />General Obligation Park Bonds in the amount of $739,000.00 to defray the cost of <br />acquiring certain park lands during the year 1974 all as authorized by the Special <br />Election held June 11, 1974. <br />2. That this Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form <br />of a Notice attached hereto for the purpose of opening and considering sealed bids <br />for, and awarding the sale of $739,000.00 General Obligation Park Bonds of said <br />City. <br />3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of <br />the time, place and purpose of said meeting to he published in the official news- <br />paper of the City and in Commercial West not less than ten (10) days in advance of <br />the sale, as provided by law, which Notice shall be substantially in the form <br />attached as Exhibit "A". <br />4. Each and all of the terms and provisions of the said foregoing form of <br />Notice are hereby adopted as terms and conditions of said Bonds and the sale thereof. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 19th day of November, 1974. <br />Maynard. .
