MINUTES OF THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 21, 1975. pg.3 <br />Bulk Mail: Councilman Pott.advised that bulk mailing would be available to Lake <br />Elmo as a non-profit organization. Application fee $15.00 and an <br />annual fee of $30.00. We could utilize for city mailings that were <br />all the same. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Abercrombie that Lake <br />Elmo make application for a bulk permit. Carried 5-0. <br />Patti Homes:Nick Patti took over the business formerly known as 20th Century Homes. <br />Special use permits are not transferable. Issuance of a permit to <br />Patti Homes was held up pending an inspection and clean bill of health <br />from the building inspector. <br />Motion by C.Abercrombie 2nd by Councilman Shervheim to issue a SUP <br />to Patti Homes at 11450 Hudson Blvd. based on the recommendation of <br />the building inspector. Clerk to send appropriate notice and billing. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Elvin Sweno:Bldg. Insp. Mueller discussed the plans of Mr. Sweno to remodel the <br />Joe Lenz barn, currently involved in legal action as a hazard. Mr. <br />Mueller requested that legal proceedings be held up. Mr. Sweno will <br />supply a letter of intent with plans on the proposed remodeling. <br />Adjacent property owners have voiced no objection. Mr. Mueller will <br />direct matter through PZC as other matters such as road easement, <br />plat, etc. must be resolved. <br />HUD Request:Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Abercrombie for <br />Mayor & Clerk to sign proposal requesting HUD funds under Chapter 1 <br />for a specified project. Carried 5-0. <br />Claims: Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons to approve <br />paymeU7 of claims 75046 thru 75068. Carried 5-0. <br />Minutes: Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons to approve <br />the minutes of the January 7, 1975 meeting as submitted. Carried 5-0. <br />Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott to amend the <br />minutes of the December 11, 1974 meeting to show the Resolution No. <br />74-39 rather than R74-35. Carried 5-0. <br />Adjournment:Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Councilman Pott to adjourn at <br />10:58 PM.
