MINUTES OF THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MEETING,February 3, 1976--page 2 <br />Flood Control: Engineer Noyes presented the first report on the <br />Water Level Study directed under resolution R76-2. <br />Report dealt with Lake Jane. Completion of study will <br />probably be about 4 weeks. <br />Special 3.2 license: Request from Oakdale Athletic Association for <br />3, one day licenses to sell 3.2 beer at VFW Hall <br />(Feb. 20, May 21 and October 16 all 1976. <br />Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Coucilman <br />Shervheim to approve 3.2 "On" Sale license to the <br />Oakdale Athletic Association for the dates of <br />February 20, May 21 and October 16, 1976. Fee of <br />special license $1.0.00 per date with OAS to supply <br />necessary policing. Carried 5-0. <br />Home Sewage Treatment Workshops: Motion by Councilman Shervheim <br />2nd by Councilman Pott to authorize participation <br />in subject Workshoglarch 9-11 at Radission, Plymouth. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Claims: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons <br />to approve payment of claims 76064 thru 76101. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Gas Installers Permit: Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman <br />Shervheim to approve Gas Installers License of <br />American Burner Service Inc. subject to approval of <br />building official. Carried 5-0. <br />Financial Report: Suggestion that we discontinue fund for RR Crossing <br />in 1976 and transfer to traffic signs. Motion by <br />Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Abercrombie <br />to approve the year end financial report as submitted <br />by clerk -treasurer. Carried 5-0. <br />Agenda: Each Friday, after the agenda is completed, arrange- <br />ments should be made to post it at city hall, at sign <br />on Olson Lake Trail & Demontreville Rd. and at Hwy. 12 <br />and Inwood Ave. <br />Appeals Board: Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Councilman <br />Shervheim to authorize counsel and Planner to draft <br />proposed legislation establishing Appeals Board Process <br />for current legislature relating to existing statutes <br />empowering Metropolitan Council to prepare Systems <br />Statements which may affect the City of Lake Elmo. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Water Tower: Engineer Noyes was advised that paint on the legs <br />of the water tower was beginning to peel off and <br />they were informed to inspect. <br />Adjournment: Motion by Councilman Abercrombie 2nd by Councilman <br />Shervheim at 9:53 p.m. Carried 5-0. <br />
