MINUTES OF THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL, AUGUST 3, 1976 -- page 2 <br />Forester-- Discussion on burning site for diseased elm trees. <br />Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons <br />to approve lease with Parranto for a burning site at 10391- <br />10th. St. North in Lake Elmo for a consideration of $1.00. <br />Further that the forester get together_ with the fire chief <br />and determine what regulations of PCA have to be met and <br />determine hours gate will be open and when burning_ would <br />be accomplished. That city crew be instructed to erect <br />the necessary fence, gate and sign and to clear away any <br />growth before burning begins. That four firemen be assigned <br />to be present and control burning, they will be reimbursed <br />for their services. Also the forester will determine haul <br />routes. Part of regulation to include requirement that <br />loads be covered while they are hauling. Carried 3-0. <br />Minutes: Page 2 re W.R. Park insert word report after the word <br />planners. <br />Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons <br />to approve as amended. Carried 3-0. <br />Ballfield lights: Bldg. Inspector will check the possibility and cost <br />of installing a relay switch in the fire hall. This will <br />reduce the unscheduled and unauthorized use of the lights. <br />This will be discussed again at the meeting August 17. <br />Adjournment: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons <br />to adjourn at 10:07 p.m. Carried 3-0. <br />
