The option of additional issues was left open. Carried 4-0, 1 absent. Land fill Purchase: Mayor Armstrong moved, Councilman Shervheim seconded, that Councilmen Morgan and Pott along with Counsel Raleigh be named as nego- tiators with the County of Washington in pur- chasing the County's land fill site with in the city. Carried 4-0, 1 absent. MTC Parking: Mayor Armstrong read a request from the MTC for park -ride facility on the NE Corner of County Road #13 and U.S. Highway #12. Memo acknowledged but no action. Recess at 6:35 P.M. - Reconvened at 7:33 P.M. with Councilman Pott in attendance. Regional Park: Councilman Morgan is drafting a memo to Wash- ington County Commissioners and County Plan- ning Co-ordinator requesting that the City be included on all and any correspondence con- cerning Lake Elmo Regional Park. The Metro Council on Open Space is to be copied. Council member Lyons reminded the council of forth coming County Park Committee meeting of 2-17-77 which will be discussing a boat launch- ing site on Lake Elmo, the Regional Park, and South County Park. Insurance: Jack Zignego, Vincent Douglass, and Ed LaClair appeared before the Council concerning the City's insurance coverage relating to property and liability. Councilman Shervheim reviewed the minutes of the Special Meeting of the Insurance Advisory Committee held 2-12-77 which becomes part of this meeting's record. Jack Zignego presented his bid as Agent of Record in the amount of $8,968.00 and explained his coverages which were expanded and reflect higher coverage of value, along with his agency's record of ser- vice. Vincent Douglass presented his bid in the amount of $8,238.14 and explained his cover- age.
