Mr.Whittaker is the individual hired <br />by Mahtomedi as City Administrator. The intent is that Lake Flmo <br />participate and pick up approximately 50% of the time and effort <br />available from Mr_. Whittaker. L.,'aRe offer from Mahtomedi is 515,n00 <br />plus fringe benefits with a review scheduled in 6 months. <br />Council meeting called to order at 7:30n.m. by *flavor Armstrong. <br />Present: Mayor Armstrona, Councilwoman Lvons and Councilmen <br />Shervheim. and Morqan <br />Absent: Councilman Pott. <br />Also Present: Counsel R. Marshall and Planner -. Loucks. <br />Shared Administrator: Councilman Shervheim offered the followina <br />resolution and requested council approval. Tt is <br />resolved that the City of Lake Flmo is interested <br />in joining with the City of Pyahtomedi to hire a <br />shared administrator, provided that an Tnter <br />Governmental Personnel. Grant is available to assist <br />the two cities. Seconded by Council -man r"oraan . <br />Carried 4-0. Councilman rgorqan will personally cheek- <br />to see if there is hidden damage. <br />Lions Club Pancake Breakfast: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nrl <br />by Mayor Armstrong to approve request of Lake Elmo <br />Lions Club to use the fire hall for a pancake break- <br />fast on May 1, 1977. Carried 4-0. <br />Lake Flmo-Oakdale joint liason planning committee .re: III development. <br />Motion h};, PTayor_ Armstrong 2nd by rouncil.woman Lyons <br />that the Mayor and Councilman Morgan w ll represent <br />the city council and Duane Grace and Dick Johnson <br />will represent the PZC on the joint liason Plannina <br />committee regarding T-I development project. <br />Carried "-0. <br />Poo ice : Sheriff Ed Tt'estphal introduced the two deputies <br />who will serve Lake Tlmo. Pale rurstenbera who <br />has had the .Lake Flmo area and Gary Swanson the <br />new patrol officer. officer Swanson has been on <br />duty since April 1, 1977. Contradts will be. mailed <br />out shortly. Estimated cost for 1977 is fi35,nn0. <br />
