The one concern I have is that we are at $15,000. and would envision an expenditure from the city, on the order of 55,000. as opposed to a bigger number. Somewhat in line with what other_ municipalities and individuals have contributed. I can't see the city making up the difference. Councilman Shervheim---I think the bulk of the money would have to come from the county, the county is going to incur the greatest saving of course. They will be saved the expense of building a 10 mile stretch of local collector roads. Councilman Pott--We are 40% of the way if the city went in with what I consider a manimum of $5,000. Councilman Shervheim--I would like to submit the 2nd resolution or something like it and recommend its adoption to the city council and you would fill in the amount, not to exceed $5,On0. Is July 1 a reasonable date to set as a deadline for the others to express an interest? Councilman Pott--I don't think it should be any longer than that. We revitalized this about March. If we can't nut it together in 90 days maybe we shouldn't try any further. It is Bettina to be a rather old subject. July 1 is reasonable. Councilman Shervheim---•Should this then be our recommendation to the council with $5,000. number. Councilman Pott---I don't know how broad that power is in the bottom paragraph. Councilman Shervheim- -Subject to approval by the city attorney of course. Councilman Pott--If that in any way jeopordizes the whole thing we can use di_fferect words or scratch it. Councilman Shervheim---The only purpose of leaving that in was to leave on the shoulders of the same people who carried it thus far the obligation of going forward.. Adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
