Lake Elmo City Council Meeting, July 5, 1977. <br />Meeting called to order at 7:33 pm by Mayor Armstrona. <br />Present: Mayor Armstrong, Councilman Pott and Morgan and Council- <br />woman Lyons (7:40). <br />Absent: Councilman Shervheim <br />Also present: Bldg. Insp. Mueller, Adm. Assistant Whittaker. <br />Bldg. $nap, Mueller requested authorization to attend various <br />ICBO meetings. Cost would be $75.00 for lost work <br />hours and $10.00 expenses. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Morgan <br />to approve Bldg. Insp. Mueller attendance at the <br />next ICBO meeting and be reimbursed $85.00 and then <br />report value of attendance to council so council can <br />consider future participation. Carried 3-0. <br />Councilwoman Lyons not present at vote. Councilman <br />Shervheim absent. <br />Building Insp. Mueller reviewed problem of receiving <br />calls relative to additions to mobile homes in <br />Cimarron. It was recommendation of the council that <br />Bldg. Insp. present these inquiries to PZC and then <br />the PZC thru the member from Cimarron can relate <br />these to Cimarron residents and management so they <br />can be resolved on a permanent basis. <br />Sunfish Lake Park-- Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Mayor Armstrong <br />to approve installation of galvanized pipe in Sunfish <br />Park entrance road at a cost of $1,212.08 for materials <br />to be supplied by Viking Steel. Carried 4-0. <br />Gravel ------ Requirement for gravelinq,43rd. & Y.imbro (approx. <br />1-1/8 miles). Bids received for delivery to site <br />were Moelter Construction--$3.00, Miller_ Excavating <br />$2.28 and T. A. Schifskv & Sons-$2.08. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Morgan to <br />accept bid of T. A. Schifskv & Sons for class 5 gravel <br />at $2.08 per ton delivered to site. Estimated. use <br />1500 tons. Carried 4-0. <br />Lake Jane Trail & 42nd. St. -- Engineer Noyes was unable to be present <br />but he had prepared a report on this intersection and <br />he would see that copies were distributed to the council <br />for consideration at a later date. <br />Curb stops --- Councilman Pott asked that curb stops be placed in <br />front of office and along fire hall. Clerk to get <br />prices. <br />Lions Park---- Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Mayor Armstrong to <br />have city crew put in a No Motorized Vehicle sign on <br />the North boundary of Lions Park to prevent parking <br />on park property in that area. Carried 4-0. <br />
