MINUTRS OF THP LAKF. FLMO CITY COUNCIL MEFTITIC,, AUGUST 16, 1977 Meeting called to order at 5:10 P.M. by Mayor Armstrong. Present: r?ayor Armstrong, Councilmen Shervheim, Pott and Morgan and Councilwoman Lyons Also Present: Adm. Assistant Whittaker, Buildina Inspector Mueller (9: 30 P.111.) , Counsel Raleigh and Engineer Pdoves (7:45 P.m.) . Systems Statement: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Council- woman Lyons to approve final Systems Statement as amended (Copy on file in City Office). Carried 5-0. Mr. Whittaker will arrange for final retype. Job Description: Administrative Assistant and Clerk -Treasurer. The council reviewed an outline previously sub- mitted. Councilman Pott agreed to make the agreed to changes and represent at the September 6, 1977 meeting. Assessment Committee: Councilman Morgan advised that he had contac- ted Kirby Kennedy and he agreed to chair the assess- ment committee for the 1976 Flood Control Project. Dennis Bakke also agreed to serve. Carryover members of the 1975 committee who agreed to serve are Harry Zabrok, Conrad Adams, Roy Brogren. and 11il Hirsch. Motion by Councilman °4organ 2nd by Council- man Shervheim to approve appointments to the 1976 Flood Control Assessment Committee of Kennedy, Bakke, 7abrok, Adams, Brogren and Hirsch. Carried 5-0. Building Repair: Two bids were received for the repair of roofs on three buildings - Finn McPhillips Fire Hall $290 $360 Pump house $1710 $1840 Office $445525 Finn was low on all items for equivalent work. Motion by Councilwoman Lyons 2nd by Councilman Shervheim to award contract for multi -building repair to low bidder, Finn, at a cost of $2,445.00. Carried 5-0 Fire Truck - Rescue Unit: 3 Chassis bids were received- Brookman Motor Dodge D300 561190,00 Merit Chevrolet Chev. CC31403 $6,135.00 White Pear Dodge Dodge D300 $5,635.00 Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Mayor Armstrong to award contract to low bidder, ($5,635.00) fihite Bear Dodge, subject to approval of. Lake r1no vol- unteer Fire Department truck selection committee. Carried. 5-0. Claims: Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Morgan to award the contract for Fire Truck Rescue body to Kolstad Company at $5,355.00 as they were the only respon- sible bidder. Carried 5-0.
