Minutes of Lake Elmo City Council Meeting, October 18, 1977. <br />Pass thru charges --Clerk explained that since council approved having <br />city engineer do working plans for developers the <br />amount of the invoices was larger than normal and not <br />in line with normal working capital. Council agreed <br />that these invoices should be held up and payment re- <br />ceived after the city receives payment from developer. <br />Baytown assistance --Lake Elmo has for a number of years been doing some <br />plowing , grading and weed cutting for Baytown. <br />Rates have been constant since 1970. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Morgan <br />to charge $24.00 per hour for grader or plow and a <br />man and $18 per hr for tractor & cycle plus man for <br />1976-7 work. New rate for 1977-8 (effective ll/1/77) <br />will be $30.00 and $20. respectively. Carried 5-0. <br />Green Acres --Council reaffirmed tis position that if Green Acres is <br />rented out and the user wishes to serve beer, whether <br />he sells it or gives it away, he will be required to <br />obtain a special license ($10.00) and will also be re- <br />quired to furnish appropriate policing.- Copy of each <br />license issued should be given to Lake Elmo Police <br />officer. <br />Adjournment: Motion by Councilman 5hervheim 2nd by Councilman Morgan <br />to adjourn at 11:43 p.m. Carried 5-0. <br />
