pg.3 <br />Minutes of the Lake Elmo City Council Meeting, November 15, 1977. <br />Snowplowing: Bids received from Francis Oehlke for snowplowing at a <br />rate of $20.00 per hour. Tractor and plow and 4 wheel <br />drive pickup for backup. <br />Dan Olinger Trucking bid, $25.00 with 10' one way plow, <br />truck and sander, $20.00 and loader with bucket or plow <br />$35.00. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott that he be authorized to use <br />either or both Oehlke and Olinger. 2nd by Mayor Armstrong. <br />Carried 3-0. <br />Salt -Sand: County bid $7.25 per cubic yard. T.A. Schifsky bid <br />$4.90/ton. <br />Liquor License: Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons <br />to approve 1978 limited "On -Sale" liquor license (180 day) <br />to VFW Post 5725 at an annual rate of $500. Carried 3-0. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons to <br />approve the 1978 "On -Sale" liquor license for 3M Club - <br />Tartan Park at an annual rate of $1,000.00 plus $200.00 <br />for special Sunday license. Carried 3-0. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons to <br />approve the 1978 "on -sale" liquor license for Gorka Inc. <br />(Ben's Elmo Inn) at an annual rate of $1,000.00 plus <br />$200.00 for special Sunday license. Also to approve the <br />1978 "Off -Sale" license at a fee of $100.00. Carried 3-0. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons to <br />approve the 1978 "On -Sale" Liquor License for Twin Point <br />Inc. at an annual rate of $1,000.00 plus $200.00 for <br />special Sunday license. Also to approve the 1978 "Off <br />Sale" license at a fee of $100,00. Carried 3-0. <br />Minutes: Clerk advised that correct number of claims from 77841 to <br />77871. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Mayor Armstrong to <br />approve minutes of November 1, 1977 meeting as amended. <br />Carried 3-0. <br />Minutes of October 18, 1977 previously approved were in <br />error. Heading Systems Statement should be changed to <br />Subdivision ordinance. <br />Compressor: One is located at Landfill site ana county has billed us <br />for $1,000. Councilman Pott informed them it was larger <br />than we feel is necessary. We will continue to use it <br />and county can remove it when they need it. <br />Forester: Quote received from Gerald Beach for Forester services <br />for 1978. Total cost $3,555.00. Additional forest <br />control $750.00. Adm. Ass't. Whittaker will discuss this <br />with Mr. Beach and will report back at next meeting. <br />Donation: Letter of appreciation for services received and a check <br />in the amount of $100.00 was received from Christ <br />Lutheran Church. <br />
