_R-77--14 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITE Q'F LAIN ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION RECONFIRMING RESOLUTION <br />#75-38; AND SETTING FORTH THE CITY'S <br />CURRENT POSITION ON THE LAKE ELMO AIR- <br />PORT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has received and reviewed <br />the proposed Aviation Chapter of the Metropolitan Development <br />Guide; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City is in basic Agreement with the proposed <br />Aviation Chapter; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City remains to any expansion of the Fake <br />Elmo Airport facility. <br />NOW,THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED, by City Council, City of <br />Lake Elmo, Washington County, State of "Minnesota, that, the <br />City herebyApproves the lroposec3 Aviation Chapter of the Metro- <br />politan Dev�opment Guide; and <br />THAT, The City approves of the classification of -the <br />Lake Elmo Airport; and, <br />THAT, The City opposes any further expansion of the Lake <br />Elmo Airport except to improve safety for current traffic; and,, <br />THAT, the City reconfirms Resolution 75-38, which establishes <br />the overall position of the City with respect to airport planning. <br />
