That the said Metropolitan Systems Statement for the City <br />of Lake Elmo be revised to provide for the inclusion of said Old <br />Village area within the Urban Service Area of the Metropolitan <br />Planning Guide, either by a loop in that line extended easterly <br />to include said Old Village area or by a detached "bubble" <br />whichever is deemed most appropriate by the Metropolitan Council; <br />3. That any such Metropolitan sewer facilities made available <br />to serve the Old Village area that any such Metropolitan sewer <br />facility made available to serve the Old Village area or any sewer <br />facility constructed with such grants-in-aid, shall be planned, <br />staged and controlled so as to prevent the necessity of extending <br />urban services, prematurely, beyond the said area tributary to the <br />Old Village. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator, with the <br />assistance of the City Engineer and City Attorney, is hereby authorized <br />and directed to present this Resolution, together with such additional <br />materials as may be appropriate, to the Metropolitan Council for the <br />purpose of securing the revision or amendment of the Metropolitan <br />Systems Statement for the City of Lake Elmo as requested by this Resolution. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 20th day of December, 1977. <br />Thomas G.
