Minutes of Lake Elmo City Council Meeting, April 1.8, 1978. <br />pg.3 <br />Bratsch cont'd.--Assessment Committee Chairman Kennedy to be contacted <br />to determine if assessment committee has made an official <br />recommendation to the city council. <br />Highway 212: Councilman Shervheim offered Resolution R78-17 approving <br />the improvement of Highway 212 from Highway 120 to High- <br />way 36 as proposed by MN/DOT. (Copy on file in city office). <br />Second by Councilman Morgan. Carried 5-0. <br />Ballfield Rental: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott <br />to increase the use of the lighted ba11fa.P1d r.n SlP_.1)_0_ per_ <br />night for local groups or local. sponsored groups and to <br />$20.00 for groups outside of city. .Tournament rates to be <br />increased proportionately by the same amount. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Park Advisory Committee Resolution: A Resolution was offered changing <br />the name of committee to Park Commission. Resolution <br />was to be referred to the Park Advisory Committee for <br />their comments. <br />Extend Meeting: Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Morgan to <br />extend meeting to 11:00 p.m. to complete agenda. <br />Job Description: Further study required. Council will reschedule for <br />next meeting. <br />Next council meeting, May 2, 1978 will commence at 5:00 p.m., rather <br />than 7:30 p.m. <br />Adjournment: Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Councilman Shervheim <br />to adjourn at 11:07 p.m. Carried 5-0. <br />
