They plan to go to printers <br />June 15, 1978 so if we had any corrections or comments <br />j we should get back to them. <br />First, Tmmanual & ideal: Bids received as follows: <br />Tower Asphalt $19,997.00 <br />T. A. Schifsky & Sons. 20,845.50 <br />Pine Bend Paving 21,810A8 <br />Hardrives, Inc. 22,937.00 <br />This is an increase of approx. 14% over the $17,500. <br />estimate. Engineer Noyes delegated to meet with the' <br />property owners and explain increase and determine if <br />they still wanted improvement. Engineer to advise results <br />at June 6, 1978 meeting. <br />Traffic. Sign: Council received a request and authorized installation of <br />Dead End St. sign on Deer Pond Court. <br />Parking: Adm. Ass°t. Whittaker to contact owner of body shop on Hwy. 212 <br />asking him to attend council meeting on June 6, 1978 to <br />discuss parking problem. <br />Cimarron: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman -Morgan author- <br />izing a letter to Cimarron that they clean up their <br />facility around the water tower. Carried 5-0. <br />Community Development Officer: Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Mayor <br />Armstrong to approve the job description of CDO as sub- <br />mitted. Carried 3-0. Councilman Shervheim and Council. - <br />woman Lyons abstained. <br />Personnel. Policies: Mr. Whittaker advises that the policies must be re- <br />solved so a report can be submitted to TPA before the <br />deadline. Council approved,because of deadline, sub- <br />mission of the draft descriptions. <br />Sewer Hearing: Date June 20, 1978. Arrangements should be made to obtain <br />school to handle expected crowd. <br />Lawcon Approval: Motion by Mayor Armstrong 2nd by Councilman Shervheim to <br />authorize Mayor and Clerk to sign the Lawcon Park Crant <br />for $38,000. Carried 5-0. <br />Adjournment: Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Mayor Armstrong to adjourn <br />at 11:10 p.m. Carried 5-0. <br />
