Page 3 <br />Lake Jane Pumping: There are several possibilities for pumping from Lake Jane -- Pump <br />down Jamaca to Beutelts Pond, Pump across Lake Jane Trail N. across <br />Olinger property and into city park pond. <br />Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Morgan instructing engineer <br />to get DNR permits and necessary easements to pump to city park pond. If <br />this does not prove successful the 2nd option is to go to Beutelts Pond. <br />Pumping to start as soon as all clearances are obtained. Carried 5-0. <br />Tri—Lakes District— Storm Sewer Drainage Plan: Councilman Shervheim offered Resolution <br />R78-25 Adopting a Storm Drainage Plan for the Tri—Lakes District -Sub— <br />district HL-15— and asked for council approval-- 2nd by Councilman Pott. <br />Carried 4-1. QEarifying issue of payment. <br />Requirement of MnDOT is that property owners be advised that possibly <br />they could receive payment for the easement byt they waive this right of <br />payment. <br />Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Pott to approve minutes <br />as amended. Carried 5-0. <br />Minutes July 26, 1978. Motion by.Mayor Armstrong 2nd by Councilman <br />Morgan to Approve minutes of Special Meeting of City Council of July 26, <br />1978 as submitted. Carried 5-0. <br />PZC appointment: Reschedules".£or meeting August 15, 1978. <br />Demantrev9.11e Highlands Bond: Engineer advised the required work in the development <br />agreement on Demontreville Highlands has not been completed. The $20,000 <br />bond should be extended to cover period necessary for completion of work. <br />Current bond expires August 7, 1978. <br />Truck Bids: Clerk advised that 4 bids had been received for the retired city truck. <br />Allen Buschette $376.00 Bob Novak $610.00 <br />Donald Larson $410.00 Lowell Vanderhoff $507.00 <br />Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Councilman Shervheim to accept Highest <br />Bid of'.$610.00.from Bob Novak. Carried 5--0. <br />Census: Supervisor should be here to commence census on Monday, August 14. They <br />request that we have 25 people to select from, 8 will be selected. The <br />8 will receive $12.00 for a briefing session and $.14 for each listing <br />in the census log. Census should take about a week. <br />Claims: Motion by Mayor Armstrong to approve payment of claims 78456 thru 78485. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Yarusso Letter: Request for recommendation from police office have not been acknow— <br />ledged. This letter as well as the petition for No Parking on Hill Trail <br />North should be scheduled for a specific time on the August 15, 1978 ag— <br />enda. <br />Mears Property: Plate 37015-2400. Letter from Dorothy McClung State of Mn. authorizing <br />local right to be heard relative to abatement on subject property. As— <br />sessed value in 1976 payable 1977 was $3R,752 and for 1977 payable 1978 <br />it was $33,096. Since the county is requesting the abatement and the <br />cityls share is small council decided on no action. <br />
