Minutes of Lake Elmo City Council Meeting, Nov. 8, 1978. <br />Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m., by Mayor Armstrong <br />Present: Mayor Armstrong, Councilmen Pott, Shervheim and Morgan and <br />Councilwoman .Lyons (7:39 p.m.) <br />Agenda: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Mayor Armstrong to approve <br />agenda as issued. Carried 4-0. Councilwoman Lyons not present <br />at time of vote. <br />Election Canvass: Ruthmary Logue explained, to the council, the count- <br />ing procedure required for use <br />in election <br />counting <br />and tabulation. Iie will be submitt- <br />ing the annual report in about a week. Iie recom- <br />mended that we pursue the oak wilt problem. Also <br />that we contactthe state and have all control zones <br />on Dutch Elm removed. <br />Gerald suggested that we could contact his son, <br />Chuck, as a candidate for 1979. <br />
