Carried 5-0. Remodeling: Three bids have been received--Ahlberg, Lindquist and Durand - range from $2345.to $4697. Motion by Mayor Armstrong 2nd by Councilman Morgan authorizing Mr. Whittaker to negotiate with.2 lowest bidders to determine that they are bidding on same package and award to lowest bid. Carried 5-0. Emergency Medical Ambulance Service, Delay action until January 16, 1979 meeting. Engineer Interviews: Set up special interview meetings with prospective engineers for Saturday, January 6, 1979. Secretarial Help: Authorized Mr. Whittaker to use a part time secretary for the first quarter of 1979 and determine if arrange- ment is satisfactory and review after that period. Pay plans: Motion by Mayor Armstrong 2nd by Councilman Morgan to approve final pay plan as submitted by Mr. Whittaker. (Copy on file with city office). Carried 5-0. PZC: Copies of old and new applications should be distributed to council for consideration at January 2, 1979 meeting. Clothes allowance for Maintenance Employees: Motion by Councilman Pott 2nd by Councilman Shervheim to establish a clothing allowance for 1979 at $132.00. Carried 5-0. 194-Final Report: Councilman Shervheim submitted the final report on the 194 Challenge Committee. The state hearing is scheduled', for March 5, 1979 with the federal action scheduled for j sometime later. The Counsel for the 194 Challenge Committee has exceeded the $50,000. agreement. They agreed to this fee and will see the actions thru to finale.
