(Easement is 1.500 ft. long). Cost at <br />$2.00/cu.yd. would he $1600ivs. $16000. <br />Motion by Mayor Armstrong 2nd by Councilman Morgan <br />to authorize survey to identify parcel and drainage <br />area.necessarypto attempt to negotiate and failing that -- <br />authorize engineer to commence condemnation proceedings. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Demontreville Winter Access: Engineer has reviewed the area and said <br />there was really no desireable access. Fishermen have <br />been using the steep grade and have found access. <br />Mr. Crombie advised that there was a better location <br />for the access and he would be willing to identify it <br />and help prepare it. Engineer. and Mr. C,rombie to get <br />together and resolve this on Wednesday. <br />Budget Reserve Resolution: Councilman Pott offered Resolution R78-53, <br />A Resolution Establishing, Defining and Re -appropriating <br />Budget Reserves for the City of Lake Elmo," and asked <br />for council approval. Second by Mayor Armstrong. <br />Carried 5-0. <br />Mottaz Trailer: The trailer is still located on property even though` <br />it has been red tagged. IIe feels he is not in violation <br />since he is in agricultural zone. Counsel advised that <br />there is no objection to storing a trailer as long as he <br />is not living ih it , Mr. Mottaz feels he will have it <br />disposed of no later than January 31, 1979. Mr. Li.ndbeck, <br />his neighbor, was violently opposed to this and all action <br />of the council. <br />Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Mayor Armstrong <br />to delay any action on Mottaz trailer until first meeting <br />in February. Carried 5-0. <br />Minutes: Under bldg. insp.--modify to credit city with $350.00 and <br />Mr. Mueller would make himself available at $12.50 per <br />hour for services or consultation. <br />Motion by Mayor Armstrong 2nd by Councilman Shervheim <br />to approve minutes as amended. Carried 4-0. <br />Councilman Morgan abstained. <br />Claims: Motion by Councilman Morgan 2nd by Councilwoman Lyons to <br />approve payment of claims 78886 thru 78915. <br />Carried 5--0. <br />Copier: Motion by Councilman Shervheim 2nd by Councilman Morgan to <br />approve purchase of Savin 770 Copier and dispose of the <br />2 copiers currently owned by city. Carried 5-0. <br />
