R-78- J <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION AUTIIORIZING AND DIRECTING <br />THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO TO <br />EXECUTE AND FILE A 5-YEAR ACTION PRO- <br />GRAM FOR REID PARK <br />WHEREAS, the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act (LAWCON) <br />and the State Natural Resources Fund provide for grants to assist <br />local public bodies in the acquisition of outdoor recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rules and. Regulations for .LAC^ICON and the State <br />Natural Resources Fund provide criteria that applications must <br />meet, and <br />WHEREAS, in order for the proposed project to be eligible <br />for approval, there must be proof that it is part of a compre- <br />hensive outdoor recreation plan and 5-year action program (capitol <br />improvement); and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lake Elmo has an original or revised <br />5-year action program, which includes Reid Park. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the <br />City of Lake Elmo, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute and to file the 5-year action program with the State of <br />Minnesota, Office of Local and Urban Affairs of the State Planning <br />Agency. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, this <br />day of (), ,. �1978. <br />Thomas G.
