5. That the City Council by this Resolution, once again <br />requests that the Valley Branch Watershed District proceed, as <br />permitted by law, with such temporary and permanent flood control <br />projects as are necessary to prevent future flood damage in the <br />City of Lake Elmo and to levy or assess the cost thereof, in a <br />fair and equitable manner throughout the entire Watershed District, <br />based on consideration of benefits received by any particular <br />property and the constitution to the flood problems caused by <br />the present or potential use of the various properties within <br />that district. <br />6. That a copy of the Resolution of this City number R-76--12 <br />adopted April 23, 1976, be attached to this Resolution. A copy <br />of this Resolution be delivered forthwith to the Chairman and <br />Secretary of the Valley Branch Watershed District. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo this <br />5th day of July, 1978. <br />Thomas G.
