CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING, JUNE 101979 <br />SALE OF TAX FORFEIT LAND: The Administrator submitted the list of parcels and requested <br />the Council review it. The Council requested Pete Iluegel look into <br />potential ponding areas on any of the property. The Council would also like <br />a list of all City owned property. <br />SPECIAL MEETING: A Special Meeting of the City Council will be held June 260 1979, at <br />5 p-m. Bids for:th.e Park Shelter will be reviewed; and the adoption'of the <br />Flood Plain Ordinance will be considered. <br />MINUTES: Armstrong moved, Mottaz seconded to reamend the minutes of May 239 1979, <br />The 924 figure is the normal high water mark not by the DNR. Fill can be <br />put in above this 924 figure. Motion carried 4-0- <br />LEVY LIMIT: The Administrator reviewed a letter from the State allowing Lake Elmo to <br />.raise its levy base to 85% of the County average. The Administrator re— <br />commended the Council exercise this option, as they are under no obligation <br />to use it. The Council decided against the recommendation. <br />BUDGET: The mid —year budget review will be held in July. <br />IRVIN COURT: The Council requested the Administrator meet with the Hedges, Jerry Mogren <br />and Bruce Folz and renegotiate the amount of the easement. <br />ADJOURNMENT: Armstrong moved, Mottaz seconded to adjourn at 7:30 p.m. <br />
