MINUTES, LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL February 19, 1980 <br />page six <br />PARKING, DEMONTREVILLE ACCESS: The Council instructed the Administrator <br />to ascertain if the City owned the land where the City wants the <br />parking. If so, the Council wants the City crew to improve the <br />boulevard for additional parking near the access. <br />CLAIM, JIM SCHULTZ- Pott moved, seconded by Novak, to pay $30.00 to <br />Jim Schultz for the materials he used in making the map of Sunfish <br />*Correction - add Lake PArk. Motion carried 5-0.*C1aim 80058 <br />Claim number <br />2/19/80 correctedSEPTAGE DUMPING: The Council agreed that septage dumping on vacant <br />land was a nuisance; and instructed the Administrator to inquire <br />of the P.C.A. when and how it would permit septage dumping. <br />MINNESOTA PROJECT: The Council instructed the Administrator to see <br />if the Minnesota Project, a consulting firm specializing in se- <br />curing grants for public projects, could secure money for water- <br />shed improvement projects. <br />TARTAN PARK LIQUOR LICENSE: The Council authorized the Administrator <br />to draft an Ordinance providing for the on -sale liquor sales in <br />the Public zoning district by Conditional Use Permit, for hearing <br />and review by the Planning Commission. Tartan Park would have <br />to have a Conditional Use Permit to take our the liquor license <br />if the Ordinance were approved. <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS, ONE -TON TRUCK: Morgan moved, seconded by Mottaz, <br />to authorize the Administrator to advertise for bids for a one - <br />ton dump truck for the March 18, 1980, meeting. Motion carried <br />5-0. <br />CIMARRON LIQUOR LICENSE. Armstrong moved, seconded by Novak, to grant <br />Cimarron a license to sell on -sale non -intoxicating malt liquor <br />in the recreation building at Cimarron Park. Motion carried 5-0. <br />HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING LICENSE: Armstrong moved, seconded by <br />Mottaz, to grant a heating and air conditioning licnese to Twin <br />City Furnace. Motion carried 5-0. <br />CABLE SERVICE TERRITORY: The Council agreed Whittaker should get the <br />City involved in a discussion of cable service territories with <br />Oakdale, North St. Paul,.Maplewood, and Landfall. <br />DENTAL INSURANCE: Mottaz moved, seconded by Morgan, to authorize the <br />City employees to secure dental insurance at their own expense <br />through the City. Motion carried 5-0. <br />The meeting adjourend at 9:58 p.m. on a motion by Mottaz, seconded by <br />Armstrong. Motion carried 5-0. <br />
