<br />LEGION POND: Morgan moved, seconded by Mottaz, to instruct the City
<br />crew to pump the test wells and record their perc rates, at a cost
<br />not to exceed $200. Motion carried 5-0,
<br />AGENDA: Additions Licenses, Nightlight at Sunfish Park, Cub Football,
<br />Methane Fuel for Landfill. Delete - Well #2 and Tennis Court
<br />Resurfacing.
<br />Morgan moved, seconded by Pott, to approve the Agenda as amended.
<br />Motion carried 5-0.
<br />MINUTES: September 2, 1980 - Pott moved., seconded by Mottaz, to
<br />approve the minutes of September 2, 1980, with the following
<br />amendmentr:to page 5,' item I. Park Commission: The Council
<br />reviewed the minutes of the Park Commission meeting of August 28,
<br />1980. Before the Commission initiates any action on the Beaubien
<br />land purchase or the land lease in Sunfish Park the Council
<br />would like to review these items. Administrator Whittaker will
<br />contact Ed Nielsen and Dave Morgan,
<br />Motion carried 4-0- 1. Morgan abstained.
<br />September 16, 198G - Mottaz moved, seconded by Armstrong, to
<br />approve the minutes of September 16, 1980. Motion carried 5-0.
<br />CLAIMS: Armstrong moved, seconded by Mottaz,ito approve Claims 80652
<br />thru 80713. Motion carried 5-0..
<br />Armstrong moved, seconded by Novak, to pay George Ringwalski $60
<br />per month for 1980, for opening and closing the gate at Sunfish
<br />Park. Motion carried 5-0.
<br />LICENSES: Armstrong moved, seconded by Morgan, to approve the following
<br />licenses: Jerome Bearth, Jer-Hen Builders, Inc., 1690 Hewitt Ave.,
<br />St, Paul; Olsons Sewer Service, 17638 Lyons St., Forest Lake; and,
<br />Lyle Rotvold, American Burner Service, 601 Prior Avenue, St. Paul.
<br />Motion carried 5-0..
<br />ELECTION JUDGES: Armstrong moved, seconded by Mottaz, to approve the
<br />recommended Election Judges and. Counters with the exception of
<br />Laura Fraser. motion carried 5-0. (see attached list of names)
<br />CLEAN-UP DAYS: Pott moved, seconded by Mottaz, to set October 18, 1980,
<br />as Lake Elmo Clean -Up Days. Motion carried 5-0.
<br />15TH STREET VACATION: - PUBLIC HEARING: Mayor Armstrong opened the
<br />hearing at 7:45 p.m. There was no one in the audience to speak
<br />on the vacation.
<br />Mottaz moved, seconded by Armstrong, to continue the public hearing
<br />until October 21, 1980, at 8 p.m. Motion carried 5-0.
<br />Armstrong closed the hearing at 7:45 p.m.

<br />removed and replaced. He received one quote for $1500 to remove
<br />and replace the existing roof.
