LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MAY 5, 1981 -9- <br />D. Councillor Novak - No report. <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Policies and Procedures - Park and Planning Commission - Tabled <br />untiI ext meeting. <br />B. Licenses - Mottaz moved, seconded by Eder to approve the fol- <br />lowingficenses: <br />Lien Construction Co. 5869 Hobe Lane, White Bear Lake; <br />Tohl and Timm Excavating, 310 Arch.St., Hudson Wi. <br />Temporary non -intoxicating malt liquor license for: <br />Ashland Petroleum Co, SW Broadway, St Paul Park - Green Acres <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />Fraser asked for a list of persons and companies who have received <br />temporary licenses at Green Acres last year. <br />C. Sludge and Ash Disposal Site - The Administrator reported that <br />Lake E mo as been liste a�ossible disposal site. Eder <br />said he contacted Mr. Jack Frost, location committee member, <br />about the report and the designated sites. He recommended that <br />Ramsey and Hennepin Counties be included on the list of disposal <br />sites being considered. Administrator Whittaker will contact Mr. <br />Frost and get additional copies of the Sludge and Ash Report for <br />the Council to review and comment on. He will also verify if any <br />LAWCON funds were used to purchase the Regional Park. <br />D. Quarterly Budget Report - Freser requested additional figures <br />for 3 3 0 to compare with the first quarter of 1981. The <br />Administrator will have the bookkeeper prepare a comparison <br />statement. <br />E. Portable Pump Trailer - Elmer Richert located a used trailer <br />for t e portab e pump. The cost is $475. Bids taken last year <br />on a similar unit ran aoubt $1,500. <br />Mottaz moved, seconded by Novak, to authorize the purchase of a portable <br />pump trailer, at a cost of $475, provided the Fire Department <br />approves the unit.Motion carried 4-0. <br />F. League Conference - The Administrator will copy the data and <br />registration information for Councillor Fraser. <br />G. Grass Rig - Mottaz moved, seconded by Novak, to authorize the <br />necessary repairs for the grass rig.
