LAKE ELMO BOARD OV REVIEW, JUNS 39 1981 -3- <br />Ted Huntly ASSESSORS RECOMMENDATION: The Assessors viewed the house and <br />Continued went through the list of what was completed on the house as <br />of January 1. The Assessors recommended reducing the valuation <br />by $13,1l.EO based on 901/6 completion as of January 1, 1981. <br />Calvin Bartley Questioned the 80/ increase over last ,years value. No improvements <br />2543 Lake Elmo Ave. have been added. The property was revalued this year. The <br />37024-0390 biggest increase was in the land value. There is approximately <br />Valuation: $130, 230 3A of land. <br />ASSESSOR ACTION: None <br />COUNCIL ACTION : None <br />Bob Dreher W. Dreher questioned the valuation on a 10A parcel he purchased <br />7515 loth St. last ,year at the appraised value of $$16,000. The Assessor said. <br />37032-3300 the land. as .revalued according to the land value schedule, Mr. <br />Valuation $E239800 Dreher said the parcel is not good farm land and contains wetland <br />37032-3350 areas. <br />Valuation: $88,660 <br />6/16/81 Council ASSESSOR ACTION: The Assessor advised Mr. Dreher to bring in the <br />approved changing Jl6, 000 appraisal for review and consideration. A recommendation <br />classification on will then be made to the Council. <br />pole building to COUNCIL ACTION: None <br />Residential <br />On parcel 33509 Mr. Dreher questioned why the valuation increased <br />$$30,000. The Assessor said the home and garage were revalued <br />this year. The pole building is taxed separately and at a <br />commercial rate. Mr. Dreher indicated he uses the pole building <br />to store two trucks and that the structure is not used commercially. <br />ASSESSOR ACTION: The Assessor recommended changing the classification <br />of the pole building to residential. <br />COUNCIL ACTION: Novak, Eder, and Mottaz agreed to change the <br />classification of the pole building at 7515 loth Street to <br />Residential from Commercial. No formal action or motion. <br />Mel Eder Questioned the value increase and asked for a breakdown of the <br />4890 Keats assessment. The home was revalued last year and received a <br />37010-2210 10% blanket increase this year. <br />Valuation: $84,185 <br />ASSESSOR. ACTION: None <br />COUNCIL ACTION: None <br />Pat Ryan Questioned the valuation and ownership of lots 732-735. She <br />7972 Hill Tr. stated that altho they own these lots they never formally <br />37445-694o purchased them. The Assessor reviewed the plat map with Mrs. <br />37445-4030 Ryan and determined these lots were in front of her residence <br />Valuation: 887,000 along the lake. <br />ASSESSOR ACTION: The Assessor advised Mrs. Ryan to check her <br />deed with t',e County and suggested combining these lots with <br />the house property. <br />"eorge Ringwalski Asked for a breakdown of the valuation.
