CITY OF LAKE =0 BOARD OF REVIEW, JUNE � 1981 <br />10 <br />Glen Peterson Questioned the valuation increase. The lot value <br />4260 Ivy Ct. increased $1800 and the house increased $6700 on <br />'17440-3000 the finished basement and the blacktop driveway. <br />Valuation: $98,995 Mr. Peterson stated the basement was finished <br />except for wallpaper and a dropped ceiling when <br />6/16/81 Council approvedhe house was initially valued. He does not feel <br />reducing value by the basement valuation is in line. <br />$3,500 <br />ASSESSOR ACTION: The Assessor will go out and <br />view the basement and determine if $5600 is to <br />high a value. <br />ASSESSOR RECOMMENDATION: The Assessors view the <br />basement and recommended lowering the value on the <br />building $3,500 to compensate for a change in the <br />finished basement. <br />COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Elmer Haase Questioned his land value. He feels he has less property <br />3703203250 than is indicated on the assessor's record. The <br />37032-2300 assessor gave a breakdown of the valuation. The <br />Valuation: $149,.890 Board and Assessors discussed the amount of land and <br />how much has been taken by the Highway Department. <br />ASSESSOR ACTION: None <br />COUNCIL ACTION: The Board will consider the valuation <br />on the land. <br />Albena Lunka Questioned the increase in land value. The current <br />12740 Century ordinance provides for four buildable lots in order <br />37750-2550 to meet the 1 1/2 acre minimum. There are no im- <br />5 lots-Tablyn Park provements on the lots. The lots are presently assessed <br />Valuation: $40,000 as five parcels. <br />6/16/81 Council ASSESSOR ACTION: The assessor will further compare <br />approved reducing lot values in this area. <br />value by $4,250 - <br />Notify only 4 buildable ASSESSOR RECOMMENDATION: The assessor recommended <br />lots. reducing the value to last years amount $35,750, based <br />on similar unimproved lots in the area. The parcel <br />received a blanket increase this year which makes the <br />$40,000 valuation high for comparible unimproved lots <br />in the area. $7,150 per lot is more in line. <br />COUNCIL ACTION: <br />ALFRED ZURCHER Questioned the valuation. The building is a duplex <br />2483 Hwy 61 on Lake Jane. He requested the Assessor to view the <br />Lot 12-Berchens Shores structure and compare it with a similar one on <br />37090-2550 Jane Road and one on Highway 36 (37011-2250). <br />Valuation: $59,420 <br />
