This is based on the size and condition <br />of the structure. The new building -value would.be $20,375. <br />ASSESSOR RECOMMENDATIO14: The Assessor viewed the <br />Schaefer duplex on Jane Road, a comparible structure, <br />and recommended reducing the building value $15,685. <br />The new building value would be $24,495. <br />COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Dale Sherbourn Questioned the increase in valuation. 100 yr. old <br />2315 Lake Elmo Ave. house. He stated that, at this <br />times i.t is questionable whether the lots can be built on. <br />He suggested a token value of $100 to'$2500. - <br />ASSESSOR ACTION: None - The assessor indicated that <br />a written verification from the City stating the lots',_ <br />are.not-buildable would be necessary before the valuation <br />can be reduced. The usual valuation on non -buildable <br />lots is 1/2 of market value. <br />
