R-81-48 <br />i <br />RESOL'UTI,ON <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY MIN'NESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION THANKING RENATE PAULSEN FOR HER WORK AS CIVIL <br />DEFENSE DIRECTOR. <br />WHEREAS, Renate Paulsen accepted the responsibilities <br />Of Civil Defense Director without compensation; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mrs. Paulsen developed the basic elements of <br />a Civil Defense Plan for the City of Lake Elmo; and, <br />WHEREAS, this plan has been accepted by the City Council <br />as the basis for a future Civil Defense Plan; and, <br />WHEREAS, this plan was developed over a very short period <br />of time with .little financial or other assistance from the <br />City Council and staff; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED „ by the City Council of <br />the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota <br />THAT, Renate Paulsen is hereby offered the sincere appre- <br />ciatibn•and:.thanks of the City of .Lake Elmo for her efforts <br />as Civil Defense Director; and, <br />THAT, the City of Lake Elmo accepts the draft Civil Defense <br />Plan for developing a future Civil Defense Program in the City <br />of Lake Elmo. <br />Adopted, this the 7th day of July, 1581, by the City <br />Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota. <br />ATTEST: <br />SIGNED: <br />Mayn d Eder, Mayor <br />
