CITY COUNCIL MEETING, APRIL 6, 1982 <br />-5 - <br />5, CIMARRON GOLF COURSE CUP - Continued <br />M/S/P to adopt R-82-18, A Resolution granting a Conditional <br />Use Permit to operate a golf course in Cimarron Park with <br />the following provisions: <br />1, that the owners of Cimarron Park shall demonstrate <br />that they have taken responsible action to process <br />claims for damages from golfers to residences and <br />personal property of residents. Claims to be <br />submitted to Cimarron management with a copy of <br />each claim sent to the City. Cimarron will prepare <br />a year-end report on all claims and their disposition <br />for Council review. This action will be a per- <br />formance factor in determining the renewal of the <br />Conditional Use Permit. <br />2, that the owners of Cimarron Park shall comply with <br />the City's Noise Ordinance. <br />3, that all mowing of the golf course will begin at the <br />perimeter of the course and end at the area closed to <br />the homes. <br />4, that Cimarron Park owners shall provide adequate off- <br />street parking, sewer facilities, and solid waste <br />disposal to serve the patrons of the golf course. <br />Motion carried 3-1. Fraser opposed. <br />i Mottaz recommended the Council review the current Noise Ordinance <br />' on a later agenda. The Council agreed, <br />6. PUBLIC INQUIRIES - None <br />%, ENG'INEER'S REPORT K. Estimate forengineering on Water Main Extension under RR tracks- <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Fraser instructing the Ctiy Engineer to prepare <br />a cost estimate for engineering on the Water Main Extension <br />under the railroad tracks in an amount not to exceed $300. <br />B. Landfill Siting Report - The Council reviewed the Engineer's <br />letter of April 6, outlining the outcome of the County Board <br />meeting on landfill sites,and their decision to identify two <br />additional areas. <br />C. Imprbvements to CSAH 14�and`15 - The Council reviewed two <br />H <br />re solution.s'from'the— County.requasting_the'City to adopt a <br />resoluticZn approving the plans for the: improvement of C.SAH 14 & 15; <br />and, adopting State - Aid Standards requiring parallel parking <br />on CSAH 14 & 15, where applicable. <br />After reviewing the plans, the Council determined the culvert that <br />is planned for under the railroad tracks would expedite the flow <br />of water to Downs Lake and create flooding problems,. They <br />favored the plan; but opposed placing a culvert under the tracks. <br />
