Mayor,Ed'er- AMM Letter to Nominating Committee - M/S/P Eder/Novak to send a letter to the Association of Minnesota Municipalities Nominating Committee requesting that Laura Fraser be nominated to a full term as a Director of the Association. 9. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT - A. - Resb'lutionl g2x-'15 - M/S/P Eder/Fraser to adopt R-82-15, A Resolution commending and thanking David A. Morgan for his service to the City of Lake Elmo as Chairman of the Parks Commission from 1972 to 1982. B. Resolution S;M2 -' Airport, Zoning' Board' Repr'esenta't'iye_ - M/S/P,Mottaz/Fraser o adopt R-82-22, A Resolution appointing Mayor Maynard Eder and City Administrator Laurence E. Whittaker to serve as representatives on the Joint Airport Zoning Board. C. LAWCON/LCMR Grants for Parks and Open Space - Council revi-ewed the =.inistrator"s summary o unds the City qualifies for. --Fraser - first step ought to be erosion control and trails for Reid Park, once the plan is approved. M/S/P Mottaz/Novak to authorize the Administrator to develop cost estimates for erosion control and trails for Reid Park, and make application four the qualifying grant.funds. D. Clean Up�,Day• - t M/S/P Novak/Eder to set May 8, from 8 a.m. to Noon as Clean -Up Day. E. Board of Review - The Council approved the revised schedule. Board of Review F. Resolution 82-6 -,Bruce Hill - The individuals who are purchasing the property from Bruce-Hil have requested that the resolution be amended to show that Jane and Dionne Nordquist are the fee owners of the property being purchased on a contract for deed by Republic Enterprises, Inc,(Bruce Hill). --Eder - how does the City know who the legal fee owner is? This can only be determined through a Certificate of Title. Do not think the City should amend the resolution to include this - not in a position to identify the fee owner,legally without benefit of title insurance. M/S/P Eder/Novak to table action on amending R-82-6. The Administrator will have the City Attorney look into this request. --Mottaz - if this creates a problem✓ the City should request the parties involved demonstrate why the amendment is necessary and prove to the City *ho the fee owners are. G. 19'72 Pick Up Truck Bid - One bid was received on the truck for $ 05 from Ken Carroll. M/S/P Novak/Mottaz to accept the bid from Ken Carrol for $105 for the purchase of the 1972 International Pick Up Truck.
