CITY COUNCIL MEETING, JULY 6, 1982 - 9 .- 11. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: / A. Word Processor - Continued 1 M/S/P-Morgan/Mottaz to approve word processor in preparing the Motion carried 4-0. the use of the DeLaHunt Voto 1983 Budget. B. On -Site Sewer Ordinance - Whittaker referred the Council to his memo of June 25, Re: New On -Site Sewer Ordinance and Metropolitan Guidelines. As some of the Council members had not reviewed the new Ordinance, the item will be placed on the July 20 Agenda for action. M/S/P Novak/Eder to defer action on the On -Site Sewer Ordinance until July 20, 1982. Motion carried 4-0. C. Gravel for\'5'Oth St, and 43rd Street - Whittaker advised the Councc l'that the Maintenance Foreman has inspected the roads to determine which roads need additional gravel to maintain the road base; and, recommended regraveling 50th and 43rd Streets from Kimbro to Lake Elmo Avenue. He received the following bids for the work: $$501.20 - T. A. Schifsky; $7,260.00 - Molter; $5,009.40 - Miller The funds would come from the gravel budget and MSA maintenance fund. M/S/P Morgan/Mottaz to accept the low bid of $4,501.20 from T. A. Schifsky to do the regraveling of 50th and 43rd Streets from Kimbro to Lake Elmo Avenue. Motion carried 4-0. D. Windscreen for Lion's Park - The bid for the windscreen was $ 619_ T_ M/S/P Morgan/Eder to accept the bid of $619 and authorize the_ expenditure :for windscreens at the -tennis courts at Lion's Park. Motion carried 4-0.This is a_.budgeted item in the 5-year Park Plan. E. Landscaping Standards - Whittaker advised the Council that the Planning Commission has finished the Landscaping Standards and that they have been forwarded to the Business Association for review and comment. F. Limerock - Ballfield at Tablyn Park -- The Jaycees have completed all the work except for placing the Limerock on the infield of the ballfield at Tablyn Park. They do not have the funds to put on the rock and have requested the City to purchase the rock, which they will 'level out on the field. Estimated cost for the limerock is $1,000. $2500 is available in the Capital Improvement Program for 1982 for this field - to date nothing has been spent. The Park'CoMmission recommended the work be completed. M/S/P Novak/Eder to solicit bids and authorize up to $1,000 to ( purchase Limerock for the ballfield at Tablyn Park. Motion carried 4-0.
