CITY COUNCIL MEETING, JULY 6, 1982 <br />- 9 .- <br />11. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />/ A. Word Processor - Continued <br />1 M/S/P-Morgan/Mottaz to approve <br />word processor in preparing the <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />the use of the DeLaHunt Voto <br />1983 Budget. <br />B. On -Site Sewer Ordinance - <br />Whittaker referred the Council to his memo of June 25, Re: <br />New On -Site Sewer Ordinance and Metropolitan Guidelines. <br />As some of the Council members had not reviewed the new <br />Ordinance, the item will be placed on the July 20 Agenda for <br />action. <br />M/S/P Novak/Eder to defer action on the On -Site Sewer Ordinance <br />until July 20, 1982. Motion carried 4-0. <br />C. Gravel for\'5'Oth St, and 43rd Street - <br />Whittaker advised the Councc l'that the Maintenance Foreman has <br />inspected the roads to determine which roads need additional <br />gravel to maintain the road base; and, recommended regraveling <br />50th and 43rd Streets from Kimbro to Lake Elmo Avenue. He <br />received the following bids for the work: <br />$$501.20 - T. A. Schifsky; $7,260.00 - Molter; $5,009.40 - Miller <br />The funds would come from the gravel budget and MSA maintenance fund. <br />M/S/P Morgan/Mottaz to accept the low bid of $4,501.20 from T. A. <br />Schifsky to do the regraveling of 50th and 43rd Streets from <br />Kimbro to Lake Elmo Avenue. Motion carried 4-0. <br />D. Windscreen for Lion's Park - The bid for the windscreen was <br />$ 619_ T_ <br />M/S/P Morgan/Eder to accept the bid of $619 and authorize the_ <br />expenditure :for windscreens at the -tennis courts at Lion's Park. <br />Motion carried 4-0.This is a_.budgeted item in the 5-year Park Plan. <br />E. Landscaping Standards - <br />Whittaker advised the Council that the Planning Commission has <br />finished the Landscaping Standards and that they have been forwarded <br />to the Business Association for review and comment. <br />F. Limerock - Ballfield at Tablyn Park -- <br />The Jaycees have completed all the work except for placing the <br />Limerock on the infield of the ballfield at Tablyn Park. They do <br />not have the funds to put on the rock and have requested the City <br />to purchase the rock, which they will 'level out on the field. <br />Estimated cost for the limerock is $1,000. $2500 is available <br />in the Capital Improvement Program for 1982 for this field - to <br />date nothing has been spent. The Park'CoMmission recommended the <br />work be completed. <br />M/S/P Novak/Eder to solicit bids and authorize up to $1,000 to <br />( purchase Limerock for the ballfield at Tablyn Park. Motion carried 4-0. <br />
