DAVID GARLOFF - REPORT ON CABLE CUMMUNICATIONS PROPOSAL: <br />Mr. Garloff up -dated the Council on the progress of the Cable <br />Commission. A decision will be made this month on the franchise <br />application for the Washington/Ramsey drea-Lake Elmo is a part <br />of. He explained the construction schedule map, the two -cable service <br />proposal, monthly rates and the number of channels and programs <br />that will be available. A public hearing will be held December <br />9, at 6:30 p.m. at Lakewood Community College. The materials <br />presented by Mr. Garloff will be further discussed and explained <br />at the public hearing. <br />7. PUBLIC INQUIRIES: <br />Gary Swanson - Lake Elmo Deputy - Deputy Swanson notified the <br />Council that Emergency Number 911 is now in effect. He explained <br />the operation of the service and encouraged all residents to <br />use the 911 number in emergency situations. <br />
