KLAERS, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />SUBJECT: INFORMATIONAL MATERIAL FOR APRIL 17 MEETING <br />1" Attached is the most recent CitY WolettI[& dated April l0, <br />1984" This newsletter contains an article on the punch card <br />voting equipment authorized by the City Council and on the <br />back contains a block of information identifying the City <br />Staff and Council along with when Council and Commissions <br />hold meetings" <br />2" Attached is the most recent WblR Ty N99111ttlE from the <br />Ramsey/Washington Cable Commission" <br />3" Nish to acknowledge that City Engineer, Larry Bohrer» is <br />mailing a letter today to all the Council members regarding <br />amending the lOO5 gItitIgo to allow pumping toward Eagle <br />Point Lake" This was requested by the City Council at its <br />April 3 meeting. Any comments on this letter should be <br />directed to Larry Bohrer and if the Council believes this <br />letter requires additional discussion, this item can be <br />added to the 4~17 agenda under Council Reports. <br />4" Attached is the MMEgh 1984, LIU Enj9E9jW90t Rlagct from the <br />Washington County Sheriff's Department" Once again, the <br />statistics for complaints, citations issued and the number <br />of miles driven are typicalv with no unusual instances to <br />report. <br />5" Wish to acknowledge that the St[111 g"11gi[lg PEgjjgt is <br />planned to begin (weather permitting) on Monday, April 23" <br />6" I have talked to Mike Ayers from Washington County regarding <br />the formation of the Lgadfill AdyijgCX CoMMittle" This <br />Committee is going to explore the alternatives for safe <br />drinking water for the affected residents near the old <br />landfill site. Mike has informed me that Ramsey County <br />still has not appointed anyone to this committee, but that <br />this item is on the Ramsey County Board agenda for their <br />April 16 meeting" We should be notified shortly of their <br />appointment to this landfill committee and I anticipate that <br />if everything goes smoothly with Ramsey County that this <br />landfill committee will begin meeting in late April or early <br />May. <br />
