R-84-5l <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WAGHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL ASSESSMENT <br />ROLE FOR THE JA,ACA COURT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br />Minnesota Statute 429 the City of Lake Elmo City Council has met and <br />Passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />improvement of Jamaca Court within the said City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo as follows to wit: <br />l. The proposed assessments, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute <br />the special assessments against the lands named therein and each tract <br />of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the <br />proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against <br />it. <br />2. Such assessments shall be payable in equal installments <br />extending over a period of four years and shall bear interest at the <br />rate of 10% per annum from December 31, 1984. The first installment <br />shall be certified to the County Auditor for payment on 1985 taxes. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessment may at any time <br />Prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property with the interest accrued to <br />the date of payment to the City Treasurer except that no interest <br />shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid before October 10r-lf- <br />1984 and may at any time thereafter pay the City Treasurer the entire <br />amount of the assesssment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to <br />December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment <br />must be made before October 10 or interest will be charged through <br />December 31 of the next succeeding year. <br />4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate <br />of these assessments to the County Auditor to be extended on the <br />property tax list of the County and such assessment shall be collected <br />and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, <br />Washington County, Minnesota this 4th day of September, 1984. <br />{ <br />' ATTEST: <br />Patrick'D.
